Services

Gennesaret Free Clinic endeavors to provide full health service to the poor.  Our services cover many health disciplines and specialties.

Volunteer physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, nurses and clerks staff GFC clinics.  We schedule weekly walk-in medical clinics for adults and children in four homeless shelters, two food pantries, one soup kitchen and our mobile clinic.  Primary medical care clinics with referral to specialty care.  Our Wellness Medical clinic offers continuing care for uninsured and Wishard Advantage Clients. 

Prescription medications, over the counter medications, hygiene items, medical supplies and aids are dispensed from Gennesaret Free Clinics.

Gennesaret Free Clinic offers primary dental care, dental surgery, prosthetics and dentures at our newly renovated Blue Triangle location at 725 N. Pennsylvania.  These services are provided in conjunction with the Marion County Health Department.

Women's Health Case Management helps women in poverty to access preventative and therapeutic health services not otherwise available.  Coordination of benefits, transportation assistance, and organization of personal care programs reaches women in shelters, neighborhoods and on the street.

Our Health Recovery Program provides housing and intense support for eight men homeless after hospitalization.

Medical records for Gennesaret Free Clinic integrate with the Wishard Neighborhood Computerized Medical Records System.
