Antionette Smith Epps is the Director of the Master of Health Administration Program and Clinical Associate Professor with the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at Indiana University—Indianapolis. Prior to joining Indiana University, she served as an Assistant Professor with the Health Care Systems Administration Program in the College of Health Profession at Ferris State University (FSU) in Big Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Epps received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (public administration concentration) from Jackson State University, Jackson, MS; a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) in Hospital Administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI and the Doctor of Public Health at the University of Alabama—Birmingham (AL) in Health Care Organization and Policy—Public Health Management. Professional affiliations include the American College of Healthcare Executives, the local Indiana Health Executives Network and the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) for which she is a past national secretary, local chapter president and education committee co-chair. She currently serves as parliamentarian for the NAHSE Indy chapter.
