Michelle Soucy serves as the director of development for the Indiana University School of Nursing. In her role she focuses on fundraising and alumni engagement. Michelle is an associate faculty member for the IU O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and Lilly Family School of Philanthropy teaching courses in fundraising. Previously, she served as the director of development for the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IU Indianapolis. She has held roles the executive director of Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation and various senior level positions, including executive director with Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies in Detroit and Lansing, Michigan, and Northwest Ohio. Michelle is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and has obtained her Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM). She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Indiana chapter, Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and American Association of Colleges of Nursing – Nursing Advancement Professionals (AACN NAP). Michelle earned her Master of Philanthropic Studies from the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Management Graduate Certificate from the O’Neill School at IUI. She graduated with a BA in psychology from the University of Toledo.
