BIOGRAPHY

Stacy is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Indiana University Purdue University – Indianapolis. Stacy is a certified physician assistant that currently practices with Emergency Physicians of Indianapolis at Franciscan Health for more than 10 years. Prior to working in the emergency department, Stacy worked in inpatient cardiology for 7 years and in an ambulatory clinic through the Dallas VAMC for 2.5 years. Her educational focus includes not only emergency medicine, but also cardiology, ECG, and laboratory medicine with a goal of helping students understand the importance of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease in the community.

Stacy graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and English in 1998, earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2001 from Butler University, and her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska in 2007. Stacy began volunteering with Gennesaret in 2020 and currently serves in the Women’s Clinic and assists with vaccination administration. Being a provider for underserved patients energizes her and encourages her to help fulfill Gennesaret’s mission to empower each patient to become stronger and more vibrant and to also build a stronger and more vibrant Indianapolis community.
