“At 23, I got into a very toxic relationship. My partner abused me physically and verbally every day. He would punch me in the face and during that four year relationship I lost most of my teeth. I had abscesses, tooth decay and problems eating for 9 or 10 years after that. I had to keep antibiotics on hand because I was constantly dealing with infections.
