Jeanne VanTyle, PharmD

Dr. Jeanne Hawkins VanTyle was a Professor Emeritus at Butler University School of Pharmacy faculty member. Dr. VanTyle began volunteering with Gennesaret in 2002 aboard the mobile medical clinic. Dr. VanTyle also served at the clinics at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and Westminster Neighborhood Services and as the Telehealth Pharmacist through the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. VanTyle enjoyed giving back some of the knowledge and education that she was fortunate enough to receive. Dr. VanTyle firmly believed that to those to whom much is given, much is expected. Dr. VanTyle entered healthcare in order to help people, and at Gennesaret, she enjoyed the environment of helping and educating patients but not having to worry about payment, insurance, or other healthcare access barriers.
