Kyzay joined the Gennesaret team in July 2023. She began her tenure as our bilingual Community Health Worker team lead where she advocated for many Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring equal access to services offered by the organization. She also administered HIV and Hepatitis-C tests in our Medical Clinic Hub inside of the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, where a large population of Spanish-speaking families regularly access food and other medical services! She then transitioned to our Women’s Health Manager, where she managed activities related to providing Gennesaret Free Clinic’s female patient population with access to breast and cervical cancer services, including clinical exams, screenings, testing, referrals, and supportive services to address other health concerns.

In November 2024, she transitioned into her current role of Clinic Manager, where she manages the GFC medical clinics. She ensures patients receive quality care from all staff and volunteers. Kyzay supports clinic initiatives including volunteer staffing, STI testing, venipuncture blood draws for point-of-care testing, pharmacy oversight, vaccines, and clinic expansion!
