Lisa R. Hayes, JD, CCHW

Lisa R. Hayes has dedicated her career to serving socio-economically challenged individuals and families as a lawyer, manager, advocate, health educator and community collaborator. Almost 17 years of her career was with Gennesaret Free Clinics, serving as the Director of Women’s Health Services. Along with connecting women with Gennesaret services, Lisa worked tirelessly to establish partnerships between Gennesaret and other community health stakeholders to circumvent barriers and assure patient access to timely and affordable health and supportive services. Lisa currently serves as the Executive Director of Pink-4-Ever Ending Disparities, a non-profit organization with the mission to eliminate breast cancer disparities through advocacy, education, research and empowerment. In that role she develops and manages various programs to address needs across the breast health continuum of care and secures research partnerships aimed to identify and act upon the underlying causes of breast cancer disparities for Black women.

In addition to her work at Pink-4-Ever, Lisa serves as the patient advocate on the National Cancer Institute/Breast Cancer Committee, is on the Health Advisory Board for ALL IN for Indiana, co-facilitates the Indiana Breast Cancer Disparities Coalition and serves as a patient/consumer advocate on numerous local and national breast cancer research studies and clinical trials.
