Have questions about NAP Credits? Contact us below!
NAP credits are state tax credits that provide a financial incentive for donors to contribute to eligible nonprofits. These credits reduce the donor’s state tax liability.
When you donate to a nonprofit participating in the NAP program, you can apply for a tax credit worth a percentage of your donation (for Indiana, it is 50%). This credit directly reduces the amount of state taxes you owe.
The savings depend on the size of your donation. For example, a $1,000 donation at Gennesaret’s 50% credits would provide a $500 tax credit.
